hi, how are you?

My name is Filippo and I was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1990.

I do research in philosophy of language and mind, mostly.

One could say my main interest lies in understanding how different yet similar we all are, and what we are to make of it.

Until May 2025 I was a postdoctoral research fellow at UCP - Braga at the CEFH (Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies) in Portugal.

I taught a MA class of "Philosophy of Language" at Ca' Foscari in 2024/25.

I was part of a Research group on linguistic relativity at Complutense University in Madrid (2020-2024). Now I'm part of a new group on the use of intuitions in philosophical argumentations.

Previously (2021-2023), I was a postdoctoral fellow at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Italy.

I organized a conference (LLPC)  in the summer of 2022 in Venice. Find more about it here.

My time outside of academia, is spent in taking care of loved ones, producing wordless music and trying to learn how to cook better. I also have a passion for journalism, both as an editor and an author, and radio hosting: I have some professional experience in  these areas.

If you want to know more about each of those, please take a look at the specific sections in the header.
