All scanning, recovery, cleaning and previewing happens on your device. Your files are not uploaded to our servers.
2. Permissions Required & Why We Need Them
To deliver core file management, junk cleaning, and data recovery features, our app requires specific system permissions. We only request permissions necessary for the app to function properly.
Storage & File Access Permissions
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access):
Purpose: This permission allows the app to scan, organize, view, rename, move, delete, and manage files across your internal storage and SD card. It is essential for deep scanning your device to perform Junk File Cleaning (finding residual files, app cache, unused files) and Data / File Recovery (scanning unindexed or deleted files across all directories).
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE:
Purpose: Allows the app to categorize your files into Photos, Videos, Audio, and Documents, enable file previews inside the app, and recover deleted media files.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE:
Purpose: Required to restore recovered files back to your device storage, clean junk files, and allow file manipulation (such as moving files to the Recycle Bin or Favorites).
