Somehow I am not able to open any folders under the File explorer tab of the Android device monitor. They just aren't responding. I tried waiting for ADM to load and tried again but no success. (Double click on folder is not working, STRANGE!)

I got an android box a few days back n I have the same problem and i did follow your instructions but when i did it usin ES file explorer i was asked to unlock the folder and that can be only done with a premium acc i think, any other methods to make this work.

I was using ES Explorer to connect to a PC okay but recently I changed the modem then my Android phone can't connect to the computer anymore. I thought it would be caused by a setting on my modem, but searching on Google cannot help me find out. Please tell me how to get my android connected to the PC so I can access files again.

So, the only way I got this working was to turn off password protected sharing. Then on es file explorer press and hold on my laptops icon in the network search then click the pencil at the top right then in domain entered the name of my laptop then entered my username and password and then that was it. I was able to see all my files but I cant get into the c drive only my files in my user folder are accessible and obviously public folders. So even turning off the password sharing it still seems secure.

In the Logs Android Studio stated that explorer command could not be found, soI solved it by adding C:\Windows\explorer.exe to my Path Variable and restarted Android Studio.

I don't think it is (only) an Android Studio Bug because explorer command wasn't working in cmd either.

Also it is strange since it worked in 3.2 beta while 3.1.3 wasn't working.
