I am a Research Economist at the Office of Financial Research in Washington, D.C.
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
My research interest are Macroeconomics, International Economics, Monetary Economics, Global Banks, and Short Term Funding.
My current research examines the effects of natural disasters on global banks and cross border lending, the response of MBS and repo markets to monetary policy and Treasury issuance, and bounded rationality in macroeconomic models. I've also conducted recent work on digital assets and crypto firms.
I'm also currently adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins Advanced Academic Program where I teach master's level courses on International Finance and Financial Economics.
