Examinations and Grading Policy: There will be three class examinations, a final examination, quizzes and online homework. Check the course calendar for quizzes, reviews and exams dates. If you miss any exams or quizzes, be sure to check in with me or with another student. Unless otherwise noted, quizzes will be at the very beginning of class, and last for approximately 10-15 minutes. Make sure to tell me in advance of any absences.
Homework: online homework will be done using WebWork as described in the official webpage. Make sure to monitor the due dates on WebWork.

Below is a summary of how grades will be calculated.
Grade cut-offs: A 90%, A- 85%, B+ 80%, B 75%, B- 70%, C+ 65%, C 55%, C- 50%, D 45%.
Academic Honesty: Students are asked to practice extra care and attention in regard to academic honesty, with the understanding that all cases of plagiarism, cheating, multiple submission, and unauthorized collaboration are subject to penalty. Students must properly cite and attribute all sources used for assignments. Students may not collaborate on exams or assignments, directly or through virtual consultation, unless the instructor gives specific permission to do so. Posting an exam, assignment, or answers to them on an online forum (before, during, or after the due date), in addition to consulting posted materials, constitutes a violation of the university’s Honesty policy. All students should be familiar with the University’s Student Academic Honesty Code.
As the semester progresses, we may have to make reasonable adjustments when necessary.
