This page contains a collection of freely available field manuals of the US Army, historical and recent. To ease navigation, the field manuals have been grouped in series, accessible through the navigation in the top left corner.
All manuals are free of copyright and have been released to the public. This site was created for scientific reasons and without any financial interest.
If you have any unclassified field manuals that are missing, we would be grateful for an email and the permission to add these to the collection.
Updates
October 28th, 2023
Added Series 1-4, so the upload is finished. After deleting some doubles and some renaming, this basically concludes creating this site. Total is now 1793 US Army Field Manuals.
I will now take the inventories of existing FMs I found and will create a "missing list" to see which manuals are still out there.

Added series 5 and 6, for a total of now 1345 field manuals.

Added the series 7-9, for a total of now 1056 field manuals.

Currently available are 941 files from the Series 10-999, Series 1-9 with about as much are still being prepared for upload.
