This Privacy Policy explains how Fidvo: Digital Loyalty Cards (“Fidvo”, “the App”) handles information when you use the application.
Fidvo is independently developed by Relu Scoarta, founder of SR INTERACTIVE.
We are committed to protecting user privacy, minimizing unnecessary data collection, and providing a simple and accessible digital loyalty card wallet.
This policy describes how information may be accessed, stored, processed, or shared when using Fidvo.
1. Information We Collect
Fidvo is designed to help users organize and access their loyalty cards in one convenient application.
Depending on the features used, the App may process information such as:
• Loyalty card numbers and identifiers.
• Barcodes and QR codes associated with loyalty cards.
• Store names and card descriptions.
• Custom card names and details entered by users.
• Card appearance and organization preferences.
• Application settings and preferences.
Some loyalty card identifiers may be linked to personal accounts maintained by the businesses that issued them.
Fidvo does not require users to enter sensitive information such as banking passwords or payment card security codes for its core loyalty card functionality.
Users should avoid adding confidential information that is not necessary to use the App.
2. Loyalty Card Information
Fidvo allows users to digitize, organize, and access their loyalty cards.
When users add a loyalty card, the App may store its identifying number, barcode, QR code, store information, and other details necessary to display the card.
This information is used to provide the functionality requested by the user.
Fidvo is an independent card organization application and is not automatically affiliated with the businesses whose cards users choose to store.
3. Camera Permission
Fidvo may request access to the device camera to scan loyalty card barcodes and QR codes.
Camera access is used to recognize and capture supported codes.
The camera permission is not intended for advertising or behavioral profiling.
Users may deny or revoke camera access through their device settings. However, barcode scanning may not function without this permission.
Any camera images, video frames, or scanned information transmitted outside the device must be disclosed if such functionality is introduced or enabled.
4. Local Data Storage
Fidvo may use local device storage to save loyalty card information and application preferences.
Locally stored information may include:
• Saved loyalty cards.
• Card numbers and barcode data.
• Custom card details.
• Selected stores.
• Display preferences.
• Application settings.
Local storage allows users to access their saved cards conveniently.
Whether information remains exclusively on the device depends on the App's actual implementation, including any enabled backup, synchronization, analytics, or cloud services.
5. Internet Access
Some Fidvo features may use an internet connection.
For example, internet access may be used to retrieve store information, display remotely hosted resources, open external websites, or interact with supported services.
When the App communicates with an external service, technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata may be processed by that service.
Fidvo aims to use secure connections where supported.
The App's specific external services and their purposes should be disclosed whenever they are integrated.
6. Store Names, Logos, and Trademarks
Fidvo may display names, logos, or other identifying information associated with supermarkets, pharmacies, fashion retailers, restaurants, and other businesses.
These elements are intended to help users recognize and organize their loyalty cards.
All third-party trademarks, logos, and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
Unless explicitly stated, Fidvo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the businesses represented in the App.
The inclusion of a business name or logo does not imply a commercial partnership.
7. User Accounts
Fidvo's account requirements depend on the functionality available in the released version.
If no registration system is provided, users can access the App without creating a Fidvo account.
If account registration or cloud synchronization is introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain the information collected, authentication methods, account management, and deletion options.
8. Advertising
Fidvo's advertising practices depend on the SDKs and services integrated into the released application.
If the App does not display third-party advertisements or integrate advertising networks, it does not use those networks to serve personalized advertisements.
If advertising is introduced, this Privacy Policy and applicable Google Play Data Safety disclosures will be updated.
9. Analytics and Tracking
Fidvo aims to minimize unnecessary tracking.
If analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, or performance-monitoring services are integrated, their data collection and processing practices must be disclosed.
These services may process technical information such as device identifiers, diagnostic information, application events, and crash reports.
Fidvo will not describe itself as tracking-free unless that claim is supported by the actual application configuration.
10. Data Sharing
Fidvo is intended to provide a convenient way to manage loyalty cards.
Information may be shared with third parties when necessary to perform a user-requested function or when required by applicable law.
Examples may include:
• External services used to provide specific application features.
• Services selected by users through the device's sharing interface.
• Application store services used for ratings or reviews.
• Technical services integrated into the App.
Any sharing of saved card information must be consistent with the App's actual functionality and disclosed practices.
11. Data Security
Fidvo is designed with user privacy and data minimization in mind.
Reasonable technical measures should be used to protect stored information and any information transmitted through network connections.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are encouraged to protect their devices using available security features, including screen locks and operating system updates.
Fidvo should not be used as a substitute for a dedicated financial or password-management application.
12. Data Retention and Deletion
Fidvo may retain saved card information and application preferences for as long as they are needed to provide the functionality requested by the user.
Depending on the available features, users may be able to remove individual cards directly within the App.
Locally stored application data may also be removed by clearing the application's storage or uninstalling Fidvo, subject to device backup and operating system behavior.
If cloud storage or accounts are introduced, additional retention periods and deletion procedures will be provided.
Information processed by independent third-party services may be subject to their own retention policies.
13. Loyalty Program Disclaimer
Fidvo is an independent digital loyalty card organizer.
It does not issue loyalty cards, administer third-party loyalty programs, or independently guarantee the acceptance of stored cards by participating retailers.
Loyalty programs, rewards, discounts, points, and membership benefits are governed by the terms of the businesses that provide them.
Some retailers may require their official application, a physical card, or another identification method.
Users are responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of their respective loyalty programs.
14. Children's Privacy
Fidvo is intended as a general-purpose utility for managing loyalty cards.
The App is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
Any processing of children's personal data must comply with applicable privacy and child protection laws.
If the intended audience or functionality changes, this Privacy Policy and the App's privacy practices will be reviewed and updated where necessary.
15. Device Permissions
Depending on the features available, Fidvo may use:
Camera: To scan barcodes and QR codes.
Internet: To access supported online resources or external services.
Local storage: To maintain saved loyalty cards and application preferences.
Any additional permissions must be used only for legitimate application functionality and disclosed where required.
16. International Data Processing
If Fidvo communicates with third-party services, technical information may be processed in countries outside the user's country of residence.
Such processing is subject to applicable privacy requirements and the relevant services' privacy practices.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, applicable legal safeguards must be respected.
17. External Links and Services
Fidvo may provide links to third-party websites, application stores, or other external services.
When users access these services, their respective terms and privacy policies apply.
SR INTERACTIVE does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party providers.
18. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about relevant processing activities.
Users may contact the developer regarding privacy questions or applicable data protection requests.
Requests will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
SR INTERACTIVE may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Fidvo's functionality, technologies, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements.
When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised.
Users are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
