Drawing and Painting

Watercolor Classes begins Tuesday, September 10th and Wednesday September 11th.  The Tuesday evening class is now full.  There is still one (1) space available in the Wednesday morning class.  These classes run for 6 sessions and meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday/Wednesday of the month from September-November.  The cost for all 6 weeks is  $150 and is perfect for beginners or anyone who wants a refresher class.  A supply list will be given when you register.  Participants must purchase their own supplies.

Some of the things covered are:  mixing many colors from a limited palette, painting washes and blends and other fun techniques like resists and salt textures, transferring images for painting, negative painting and mixing colors for a mixed media assignment.  You will have 2 weeks to work on the techniques you learn before coming to work on the others.   

If you already have watercolor tube paints, you may use them,  but it is always fun to have new supplies and  different brands have different colors - they are not all the same.  The paints I have chosen for this class are not the most expensive, but also not the cheapest.  You will enjoy using them.
