Pastor Steve was born in Alabama. He has also lived in Florida and now resides in Georgia, for the past 23 years. He has a sales and business management background. Steve is married to his high school sweetheart, Tena and they will be celebrating their 40th anniversary, soon. God has blessed them with a daughter, a son and 4 precious grandchildren. His hobbies are studying God's word, football, canoeing and spending time with his family, which includes their rescue dog,"Jerry Lee".
Steve received Christ at church camp when he was fourteen, but ran from God for years. When Steve and his family first moved to Dallas, in 2000, they started attending Hope United Methodist Church. The pastor there at that time, Tommy Willingham, recognized God's calling on Steve's life. Tommy became his spiritual mentor and encouraged Steve to live out God's plan for his life. Steve completed his Theology/ Seminary training through Chandler School of Theology, Course of study, at the Birmingham Southern and Huntington College campuses, in Alabama. Steve's passion is to teach, encourage and to witness the joy in people's lives when they receive Christ and become obedient to God.
