As spring break draws near, so does our finals and AP exam anxiety. Students searching for a study place will find comfort at the school’s Matthew William Moore Library. With a quiet, calming atmosphere, oodles of study material, and plenty of comfortable seating, it is perfect for upcoming exam preparation.
Many students are unfamiliar with the library’s events and services. The most popular library resource (other than books) are the printers. Using the library website, students can print up to 10 pages in black and white for free (10¢ for each additional page) or 25¢ per page in color. A free subscription to The New York Times is also available on the website, including access to news, recipes, sports, and daily games. If you have any questions, librarians and student aides are always open to help!

The library also hosts many monthly events. Recent Friday RTI sessions feature crafts and other fun activities. Other special events include a Valentines photo booth and tiny desk style concerts. When asked about future events, librarian Mrs. Hall mentioned that MWM library is organizing and sponsoring a tiny concert expo on April 30. Local bands and artists from FHS were encouraged to contact Mrs. Hall for participation. Other future events include a visit from Adam Cesare, author of “Clown in a Cornfield,” in October 2026.
The Matthew William Moore Library is a great, safe space for anyone looking for a chance to read, relax, or get work done. Make sure to come by during and before class, lunch, or RTI!
