Mrs. Traveler's Drama Class"
Welcome to Drama Class where everything is awesome when you act in a scene! My name is Mrs. Traveler and this is my fifth year as an arts teacher in EBR! I love teaching and directing students in productions at Forest Heights!
Dramatic Arts provides students hands-on training in each of the following: theatre history, play reading, playwriting, elements of play production, set design and blocking, theatrical make-up, stage lighting, sound and vocal technique, critical analysis, evaluation of the aesthetics. Students will also experience group bonding and ensemble development activities that also focus on collaboration, character development, relationship development, environment development, script analysis, and script creation.
I expect this year to be a year of immense growth and fun as students are exposed to the wonderful, whimsical world of theatre! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and I look forward to a successful year for everyone!
