Our mission is to give fellow classmates the nutritional meals they need to do well in their classes as well as their day to day activities. We also give service learning opportunities to students who are interested in giving back to their community!
Meet the Team
Lizzie Costello is a junior at Florida Gulf Coast University and is passionate about helping others in need. She is the founder of FGCU's Student Run Food Pantry as well as the creator of this website. Lizzie is on site daily at the food pantry making sure everything is running smoothly and that the food is being packaged and distributed accordingly. She hopes this food pantry will continue on even after she has graduated and will help many other generations to come.
Rocco Petreccia is the leader of the outreach program at FGCU'S Student run food pantry. He is a Junior from Boca Raton, FL who loves to give back to the community as best as possible. Rocco is currently working on making donation boxes to put around campus so anyone who wants to easily give back can do so.
Avery is currently a junior at FGCU who is passionate about the topic of ending hunger for all. She is working towards creating 3D printed rings and selling them to the community to donate the proceeds to those in need.
Tyler is the creator of a clothing line focused on helping to cure world hunger. He is currently a senior at FGCU and plans to continue working towards this cause after graduating.
Sean Williams is a junior at FGCU who created and operates the MyFoodPantry app to help those in need locate local food pantries. Sean hopes that this app will help those in need find proper nutrition to fuel them through their daily life.
