Some day in the week.

According to the holy bible,

God did create the world and life in 6 days.

The seventh day he took some rest.

I prefer this seventh day, stay quite

However, on Sunday, i like to wake up early

Early at dawn, at the break of the day.

Enjoy the nature before the sun rises.

Captivate the light of the rising sun.

Enjoy the sound of silence.

Take the time for meditation.

Prepare the table on the place i want to paint.

To be ready when the light comes up.

In the beginning there are no colours.

Colours are not existing without light !

Thats the good moment of contrasts,

To bring one thing in contrast with another,

to stand out against!

We are living in a world of contrasts,

while painting, two female astronauts,

where repairing the space lab ,

400km above my head.

At the same time, in Afganistan,

a man was beating his wife,

because she took the car to make some shopping !

Contrasts, a world of contrasts.

I painted the vieuw in black and white ,

Although, i would prefer “50 shades of grey”! Joseph
