Thursday 10th Poet's Corner. In September we started into the season with the topics DIRTY/CLEAN. Anne reflected about A CLEAN CONSCIENCE. Françoise, though, in BRAIN DETOX complains about her “dirty” brain full of alarming news that flood her mind. In Georges' BRAVE CLEAN WORLD, he describes the world wide situation that is by no means “clean”. Anne-Marie reminds us of the Italian movement in the past called CLEAN HANDS, MANI PULITE. Joseph affirms, if something is considered CLEAN OR DIRTY, it depends on people's individual point of view. Dietmar pretends that DIRTY may sometimes more interesting and adventurous than clean. In one of her poems Sylvie pays tribute to the PITMEN, mining coal under dangerous and dirty conditions. Georgette also is of the opinion that something or someone “dirty” or “clean” cannot always been clearly recognized.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday 10 October at 5 pm (Mind the change of time) in room 11 as usual in la MAIRIE DU 6e, 37 Rue Bossuet 69006
Topic:Meeting Marie Scimia who presents the poet BOB KAUFMAN and translating poetry, an exercise.
