NEBULA SALMON TERIYAKI

Active cooking time: 10 mins. Total cooking time: 2 hrs 30 mins. Serves 2-4

Ingredients:

  • 1¼ lb salmon, cut into 2 inch wide portions (570g)

  • ¾ cup soy sauce (180mL)

  • ½ cup mirin, i.e. Japanese rice wine (120mL)

  • 1 tbsp sugar (12g)

  • 2 tsp garlic powder (6g)

  • 1 tsp ginger powder (1.5g)

  • pinch of nutmeg

  • skewers

  1. In a ziplock bag combine the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic powder, ginger powder and nutmeg.

  2. Add the salmon and marinate for at least 2 hours. Soak the skewers in water at least 30 minutes before you start baking.

  3. Preheat an oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the marinated salmon on a baking sheet, add skewers to salmon, and bake for 18 minutes. Enjoy!
