NYC FF Tour & Mutual Tracker ("the app") is a personal scheduling tool for New York City firefighters. This policy is short because the app is built to keep your information on your own device.
What we collect
Nothing.
The app has no accounts and no sign-in. It does not send your information to us or to anyone else. There are no analytics tools, no advertising networks, and no tracking of any kind in the app.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter is stored only on your device, using your device's standard app storage. This includes:
Your group number, partner, and roster names
Calendar marks, tours, and mutuals
RSOT and MSOT entries
Owed-tour banks, leaves, injuries, and exposure records
Personal events you add to the calendar
Pay settings and any figures entered into the financial calculators
Color and display preferences
This information is never uploaded to a server, and the developer has no access to it and no ability to retrieve it.
Sharing
Because no information leaves your device, nothing is sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties.
Deleting your data
You can erase everything at any time using Setup → Erase all data inside the app. Uninstalling the app also permanently removes all stored information from your device. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Backups you create
The app lets you export a backup file. That file is created and saved by you, on your device or wherever you choose to store it. Anything you do with that file afterward — saving it to cloud storage, emailing it, sharing it — is outside the app and subject to the privacy practices of whatever service you use.
Links to other websites
The app includes links to third-party sites, such as employee self-service, union, pension fund, retirement plan administrator, health program, and charitable organization websites. These sites are operated by others and are not controlled by us. When you follow a link, you leave the app, and that site's own privacy policy and terms apply. Always confirm you are on the correct official website before entering any login credentials.
The app also includes a button that starts a phone call using your device's dialer. The app does not place calls on its own, does not record calls, and does not access your call history or contacts.
Permissions
The app does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or files.
Children
The app is intended for working firefighters and is not directed at children under 18.

The financial tools in the app are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not financial, investment, tax, insurance, or legal advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, roll over, or replace any product, security, or strategy. Results are estimates based on the figures you enter and on simplified, general formulas, and they may not reflect your actual situation or current law. Pension, pay, and benefit figures are estimates only — always verify with your official statements, the pension fund, and your union contract. Consult qualified, licensed professionals before making financial decisions.
