FF SENSI CALCULATOR PRO
PRIVACY POLICY — FF SENSI CALCULATOR PRO
Effective date: 8/28/26
This app does not collect, store or transmit personal data. There is no
account, no login, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDK of any
kind. Everything the app calculates is calculated on your device.
1. INFORMATION READ ON YOUR DEVICE
To calculate a sensitivity profile, the app reads the following at the moment
you use it:
• Your device manufacturer and model name
• The total physical memory (RAM) reported by Android
• Whether your active connection is Wi-Fi, mobile or Ethernet
This information is used only to compute the numbers shown on screen. It is
never transmitted anywhere, never written to a server, and is not retained
after you close the app.
2. NETWORK ACTIVITY
To estimate your latency ("ping"), the app opens and immediately closes a
connection to port 53 on one or more public DNS resolvers, and measures how
long the handshake takes. The resolvers used are Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), Google
Public DNS (8.8.8.8) and Quad9 (9.9.9.9).
No data payload is sent, no query is made, and no response content is read.
The measurement exists only to time the round trip.
As with any internet connection, the operator of the resolver can observe that
an IP address connected to it. The app sends them nothing about you or your
device, and does not store or transmit the resulting measurement.
If you are offline, the app skips this step and still works.
3. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The app saves three settings locally, in Android's private preference storage
for this app:
• Your chosen interface language
• Whether you have completed the language picker
• Whether you have completed the onboarding screens
That is all. Generated sensitivity profiles are not saved or logged.
Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
4. ANDROID BACKUP
The app uses Android's standard backup behaviour, so the three settings above
may be included in the backup that Android makes of your device to your Google
account. That backup is created and encrypted by Google, is governed by
Google's privacy policy, and is not accessible to us. You can disable it in
your device's system backup settings.
5. PERMISSIONS
• INTERNET — used for the latency handshake described in section 2, and to
open external links such as the Google Play listing.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — used to check whether you are online, and whether
you are on Wi-Fi or mobile data, before attempting a measurement.
The app requests no other permissions. It does not access your location,
contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, calendar or messages, and it does
not read any device or advertising identifier.
6. CLIPBOARD
When you tap Copy on a result, the profile is placed on your device clipboard
so you can paste it elsewhere. This stays on your device.
7. LINKS TO OTHER SERVICES
The Rate Us and More Apps items open Google Play, and the privacy policy item
opens your browser. Those services are operated by third parties and are
governed by their own privacy policies.
8. CHILDREN
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
9. CHANGES
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this URL with
an updated effective date.
