When the sun passed through the enormous glass window panes,
They brushed the green-painted walls.
You entered not as victors, but as wanderers,
Carrying empty pages instead of medallions and banners.
The hallways you walked through became your forests: unexplored, still.
Where every challenge served like an insurmountable trail.
And then, there came your greatest rivals,
The mighty papers, discourses, and trials.
As though magnanimous monsters and beasts that tried to wear you down.
Many of you walked and stumbled,
Fretting over its gigantic shadow,
Yet none walked alone.
For on the path you walked through
Had armed you with weapons even stronger than the sharpest of steels:
The power of words, the courage to create, and the patience to listen.
With every turn completed,
The beasts only grew weaker and smaller,
Until it yielded before your determined minds.
Your companions became your fellow adventurers,
Each carrying distinct powers into this journey.
Some painted optimism with kaleidoscope colors,
Some solved mysteries within daunting numbers,
Some gave voices to silent dreams,
And together, you crossed every bridge and hall of uncertainty.
Surrounding your trails stood the trees,
As if faithful witnesses to your every season.
Each last quarter they quietly scatter without fail,
As if telling you, weary travelers,
That even after the harshest of storms,
There are blooms of flora for those who endure.
Beyond these green walls, the gates are now open.
The horizon ahead stretches beyond the edge of sight,
Diverging into endless unknown routes.
Yet you no longer fright where they may follow,
For this odyssey has shaped more than your future;
It has molded your grit, might, and valor.
Though your footprints leave these familiar grounds,
Your names and greatness remain like roots beneath the depths of earth.
As every last quarter returns with blooming trees,
So shall your aspirations return bearing its yields.
For you graduates are not just wanderers reaching the end of the journey,
You are heroes who have only yet to begin the greatest adventure of all: Life.
