Felix Lambrecht
I work primarily in moral and political philosophy. Starting January 2027 I will be Assistant Professor of Applied Philosophy and DIAS Fellow at the University of Southern Denmark. My research is unified around questions of collective morality: (What) do groups owe, and (what) do we owe groups? I investigate concrete questions, including reparations for historical injustice, collective duties for emissions, and oppression. And I investigate abstract questions such as the metaphysics of groups and group consciousness. I hope to bring these concrete and abstract questions together in a book project about whether groups can be wronged. I also maintain research interests in feminist philosophy and applied ethics. When I'm not struggling with the complexities of group morality, I can be found struggling with the complexities of Danish pronunciation, playing guitar, or running around in the mountains.
