If you want dedicated over ear headphones for gaming or a seamless home theater experience with zero audio delay, choose OHAYO TV Headphones; if you need durable underwater bone conduction gear for lap swimming and poolside Bluetooth, choose Feiltik Swimming Headphones Underwater. These two devices occupy completely different lanes of the audio market, and trying to force one into the other's role will lead to frustration. I have analyzed the specifications and design intent of both units to help you stop guessing and make a final decision today.
• Feiltik Swimming Headphones Underwater: The biggest strength is its IPX8 waterproof rating and bone conduction technology designed specifically for water sports; the trade-off is that Bluetooth does not function while submerged, requiring a switch to MP3 mode. This pick is strictly for swimmers and water athletes who need open-ear safety.
• OHAYO TV Headphones: The biggest strength is its ultra-low latency (under 27ms) and simple plug-and-play docking system that eliminates audio lag for movies and gaming; the trade-off is that it is an over-ear unit with no water resistance and cannot be used in wet environments. This pick is for seniors, home viewers, and gamers who need clear dialogue and perfect lip-syncing.
The Feiltik T05 model is engineered with a singular purpose: keeping your ears safe and dry while you move through water. Its most defining feature is the IPX8 waterproof certification, which means it can handle full submersion during diving, snorkeling, or competitive swimming without any risk of water damage. Unlike standard wireless headphones that might fail the moment they hit a splash, this unit is built to withstand the pressure and humidity of a pool or open water. It utilizes bone conduction technology, which transmits sound vibrations through the cheekbones rather than plugging the ear canal. This design choice is critical for aquatic activities because it keeps your ear canals completely open, allowing you to hear your surroundings—a vital safety feature when swimming in groups or public pools.

For the user who loves long-distance swimming, the 32GB of built-in storage is a game-changer. Since Bluetooth signals do not travel effectively through water, you cannot stream music from your phone while underwater. Instead, this headphone acts as a standalone MP3 player capable of holding up to 8,000 songs directly on the device. You simply load your playlists beforehand and switch to MP3 mode to swim without any tethered wires or anxiety about losing your connection. The magnetic charging port further reinforces its durability by eliminating the need for exposed ports that could leak, ensuring the battery life remains robust even after repeated exposure to chlorine and salt water.
Who should buy this? If you are looking for the best bluetooth gaming headphones for gaming in the pool or just want to listen to podcasts while doing laps without hurting your ears, this is the only logical choice. It is also ideal for those who find in-ear buds uncomfortable or painful after extended wear, as the open-ear design prevents ear fatigue. However, you should skip this product entirely if you plan to use these headphones for watching TV, playing console games on land, or listening to music in a quiet room where high-fidelity stereo separation is required. The audio profile is tuned for clarity and situational awareness, not for immersive bass-heavy entertainment.
The OHAYO BH128A is designed to solve the specific problem of private listening without compromising the viewing experience for others. Its standout feature is the advanced low-latency wireless transmission, which delivers audio with less than 27 milliseconds of delay. In the world of home entertainment, this specification is non-negotiable for anyone who cares about lip-syncing. Without this low latency, you would notice a frustrating lag between the actors' voices and their movements on screen, which ruins immersion in movies and makes competitive gaming nearly impossible. With this spec, the audio arrives in perfect time, making it a top contender for anyone seeking the best headphones for gaming or binge-watching series late at night.
Connectivity is another area where this unit shines, particularly for users who struggle with complex pairing processes. Once you plug the dock into your TV's audio output and power it up, the headphones pair automatically. There is no fumbling with Bluetooth menus or confusing codes. The system also boasts a 100-foot wireless range, meaning you can walk from the living room to the kitchen or even step outside onto the patio without losing your audio signal. The battery life is equally impressive, offering up to 30 hours of playtime on a single charge, which is more than enough to cover multiple days of heavy usage without needing to hunt for a charger.
Who should buy this? This is the ideal solution for seniors or anyone who finds traditional Bluetooth pairing difficult. The setup is straightforward, taking only four steps to get running. It is also excellent for couples or families where one person wants to watch a movie at a high volume while the rest of the house sleeps. The soft-padded ear cushions and lightweight construction ensure comfort during marathon viewing sessions, preventing the pressure headaches common with cheaper headsets. You should avoid this product if you need waterproof gear or if you plan to use it for swimming. The plastic enclosure and dynamic drivers are not rated for water exposure, and the over-ear design traps moisture, making it unsuitable for any aquatic activity.

After weighing the specs and intended use cases, I would personally buy the OHAYO TV Headphones if my primary goal was home entertainment or gaming. The combination of sub-27ms latency and the 30-hour battery life creates a superior experience for watching movies and playing video games compared to the Feiltik, which lacks the necessary audio fidelity and latency performance for these tasks. While the Feiltik is undeniably specialized for swimming, the OHAYO offers a much broader utility for daily life, making it the more versatile investment for a gamer or viewer. If you are strictly looking for the best bluetooth gaming headphones for gaming on a couch or bed, the OHAYO is the clear winner.
No, the OHAYO TV Headphones are not waterproof and cannot be used in water. Only the Feiltik Swimming Headphones Underwater are rated IPX8 for full submersion and swimming activities.
No, Bluetooth signals do not work underwater. You must switch the Feiltik to MP3 mode using its built-in 32GB storage to listen to music while swimming.
