His weapon Garm pairs almost perfectly with Hardy Fighter, giving him the full null follow-up effect. Along with speed stacking, this almost guarantees he doubles anything except for the fastest of units.

His balanced stat spread lets him handle almost any situation and his high attack stat lets him run defensive specials while also guaranteeing the kill

My newest build is running Arcane Downfall with Savvy Fighter, which is marginally better just from the -1 special cooldown but the lack of a guaranteed follow-up effect definitely makes the Hardy Fighter setup less reliable
