Description from creator:A more honest/tanky version of Brave Eirika. He has higher base health and defense, making Owain bulkier without the need for damage reduction. He is able to self sustain thanks to Surge Sparrow.

Thanks to Owain's weapon and B slot combo, he has full null follow-up on player phase. Canto may be more appealing to most players, but at the moment Thorr is the only unit with Flow Guard, while we've had plenty of chances to get trace in the regular summoning pool. In addition, Flow Guard helps his survival by denying enemies to instantly strike back with specials.

While Owain's player phase is amazing, his enemy phase is lacking. His only form of defense is his weapon providing defensive null follow-up, which won't help much against brave weapons/magic nukes.
