My name is Dr. Derren Slinde.
I grew up in Stoughton and have lived in the southern part of the state all of my life.
In my second year of undergraduate study while playing roller hockey with some friends, I suffered a head-to-head collision. Shortly thereafter I experienced neck pain and headaches. In addition, I developed allergy and sinus problems. The problems worsened and medication didn't seem to help. A family friend suggested I see his chiropractor. The chiropractor adjusted me and I got relief. The neck pain, headaches, allergies and sinus problems are now a thing in the past!
Nowadays, people come to see me with their neck pain, headaches, allergy and sinus problems. Also, the come to me with their whiplash, migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, scoliosis, back aches, chronic pain, dizziness, shoulder/arm pain, ear infections, athletic injuries, just to name a few.
My qualifications: I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from UW - Stevens Point in 1995 and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1998. I interned with a chiropractor near Milwaukee for six months before opening my own practice in my hometown of Stoughton in the spring of 1999.
I am currently celebrating my 20th year in practice and enjoy it more than ever. My number one goal is to help people experience better health through chiropractic by providing great care at a great fee.
I've been been married for nearly 20 years to my wife Rhonda. We have two sons. In my leisure time I enjoy time with my family, reading, biking, and working with kids through managing Destination Imagination and FIRST extracurricular academic teams.
