Let's fight food insecurity!
Well, our motto explains it best: Let's fight food insecurity! Founded in 2023 by Mira Tosh, Feeding COMO is a service and advocacy group at Rock Bridge High School rooted in fighting food insecurity. We are partners with the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri. Through service, advocacy, and fundraising, we are able to help the COMO (Columbia) community in the fight against hunger!
Every year, we host an annual spring Feeding COMO fundraising and social event for the COMO community. This event’s purpose is to raise money for the Food Bank and awareness of Food Insecurity!

Meet the Team
Co-President
Aayan is a senior at Rock Bridge High School. After some initial volunteering shifts exposed him to the uplifting impact access to food could have on local youth, he wanted to become more involved in the fight against food insecurity. Specifically, he worked with the local Food Bank on building tools to make lifesaving tools more accessible. Believing that the fight against food insecurity requires collective action, he hopes to inspire others to take action through Feeding CoMO.
Co-President
Alvin is a senior at Rock Bridge High School who began advocating against food insecurity during his freshman year after seeing how deeply it affects individuals and families in the Columbia community. Wanting to make a lasting impact, he took on the leadership for Feeding COMO to raise awareness and encourage greater youth involvement in the fight against food insecurity. Through advocacy, volunteering, community events, and donations, Alvin hopes to connect students with meaningful opportunities to support those in need. He believes that food insecurity is an ongoing issue that requires consistent community involvement and is committed to helping build a more supportive and food-secure Columbia.
