The USS Mendota was the sister ship of the Manona, the first of the Manona-class corvettes. She was based at PMMS.
The USS Mendota was built at New Archton Gateway Co. and was commanded by John B.G. for the beginning of it's career. She was named for the Largest Lake in Madison and was the 2nd plane in the Manona-class. The plane was transferred to the command of Liam St. John.
The Manona, after her transfer to Liam St. John's command, was flying at PMMS when a gust of wind shot the plane to the roof of the building, where the plane remains sitting to this day.
