The USS Manona is the first Manona-class Corvette to be in service with the United Federation.
The Manona started her life as an idea to improve the Federation's unsuccessful Kumari-class planes. She was made at the New Archton Plane-building facility and entered service the following day. She often flies with the Red Battleship division of the Federation Air Force, along with the USS Mendota, Waubesa, and Kegnosa, along with the Frigates USS Chicago, Columbus, Brazee, Carriage, Cottage Grove, and Duluth.
The Manona is expected to continue serving at PMMS for a long while yet, and while it is unlikely, in the event of a crash her name will be placed on a new Manona-class corvette.
