U.N.S.C.

         The United Nations Supporting Communism, most commonly referred to as the UNSC, was a federal socialist republic within the Sun Prairie Nations. Founded as a breakaway of several Federation States, the UNSC was a member of the Prairie Union and one of the large superpowers of the SPN. It expanded massively since it's founding, leading to many people to cite it as one of the most successful new nations. It was disbanded after the end of the Second Great Prairie War.

History

Foundation

      After the false breakup of the Federation during the Monday Rebellion, 23 south-western states in the Federation opted to not join the reformed nation, and instead would found the United States of Communism (U.S.C.). These states were:  Westeran*, Northern Catopia, Eastern Catopia, Central Catopia, Western Catopia, Southern Catopia, Rydonian Rap City, Outer Rydonian Rap City, Terra Nova, Sutherland, Waubesania, Capitolan, Rydonasaurous, North Virginia, South Virginia, Middleton, Abyssia, West Middleton, Kleveland, North Kleveland, Kitelandia, South Cornucopia, and Cornucopia.

         The United States of Communism immediately applied for membership in S.P.A.T.O., and was granted such membership the next day. The U.S.C. followed up by buying out at full cost the vessels under the command of the Southwestern 7th Fleet, which had previously provided defense for the states. The United States of Communism Air Force then ordered many new vessels from the Gateway Corporation.

         2 weeks after the foundation of the nation, it was re-named the United Nations Supporting Communism. As the now UNSC, the navy of the state also began to grow, purchasing the Southern Defense Fleet from the Federation, and ordering new Frigates and Cruisers. However, these new ship orders would be delayed by the outbreak of the NMCR-UNSC War.

NMCR-UNSC War

        The other newly formed nation in the former-southwest of the Federation, the New Martian Congressional Republic had begun a rivalry with the UNSC. After an incident involving two warships of the neighboring nations, the rivalry escalated to a full on conflict. However, the war was short. The only major battle saw the UNSC's flagship, the Dreadnought, be heavily damaged in action. After the war, the NMCR joined the Republic of Despa.

Western Expansion

        After SPATO's Summit on Borders, the UNSC was permitted to expand into areas previously unclaimed by the SPN. The Western Expansion of the UNSC put the nation on par with the Republic of Valentino, Despa, and the UFP in terms of land size. The UNSC also purchased more aircraft and ships from the Federation and Gateway Co. 

The Great Prairie War

       Leaving SPATO just before the outbreak of the Great Prairie War, the UNSC declared War on the Federation as a part of the Broalition. It participated in the Centralia Campaign, the 1st and 2nd Drive Island, and the Battle of E House.
