Widely regarded as the best plane in the Federation, the General Flyers Firestar was created by the Father of Liam St. John and was the focus of three wars, all of which were centered around people attempting only to outdo the plane.
Firestars were created by Liam St. John's Father during the 1980's making them undoubtedly the oldest plane in use in the Federation other than the simple NakLock. The design was improved upon by Liam St. John in the Firestar Gen 2. The planes became some of the most famous planes at PMMS and flew very well. Many fellow B-house students soon began aquiring planes from Liam, who happily gave them away. This attracted John B.G. who was the main producer of paper planes for A-house. The two soon came into conflict. This resulted in the John and Liam wars.
After the founding of the United Federation, the plane was used in the Federation as the backbone of the 2nd Fleet. The plane's impressive performance also attracted the attention of Noah Berg, who decided we would make a better plane than the Firestar and the Sparrow, even if it meant going to war with the Federation. And he did, igniting the longest war in Federation History. Eventually the Solar and Lunar designs proved a fair competitor, sometimes out-flying the Firestars, although they could not match them in durability.
As far as can be seen, the Firestar has a bright and long future in the Federation Air Force. No plane can match it's speed, performance, and most of all beauty.
