Federation Empire

       The Federation Empire is a colloquial name for the United Federation of Paper Planes' territorial and colonial holdings. These colonies number over 115 and are spread mostly in the Midwest with several exceptions. 

History

      The Federation's first external territory was St. Louis, Missouri. Claimed by John Banks-George and Natalie Lechner, the colony would eventually become the 28th State in the Federation. During Ainsley Wall's Presidency, these claims expanded with the inclusion of Chicago, the Black Hills, Rapid City, Spirit Lake, and Columbia. However, the most major proponent of the Federation Empire was President Clumpner, who personally led massive conquests of Northern Wisconsin, eventually creating the State of Nakomis, the (at that point) Territory of Castle Rock, and others. In addition, under his presidency the Federation gained the Door Peninsula and the Suamico Colony. 

       This expansion continued until the formation of the Prairie Union, at which point the need for colonial extension was largely unnecessary.
