Fede Fioravanti

Hi! I´m a researcher from Bahía Blanca, Argentina, who works as a Maître de Conférences (permanent position) at Groupe d'Analyse et de Théorie Economique (GATE), in the Saint-Étienne School of Economics, France. 

My research is in social choice theory and mechanism design, and in the economics of sports. I study the axiomatic and strategic properties of voting and aggregation rules, including their applications to artificial intelligence, as well as empirical questions in rugby and sports in general.

I received my PhD in Mathematics from the Universidad Nacional del Sur supervised by Fernando Tohmé and Sheldy Ombrosi. After that, I held postdoctoral positions at the Instituto de Matemática de Bahía Blanca (Argentina), the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (The Netherlands), and briefly at GATE before joining the faculty.
