Christmas Elf Call ("the App", "we", "our", "us") is a family-friendly entertainment app that allows users to receive simulated elf phone calls and chat with AI-powered elf characters. Your privacy is important to us and this policy explains how we handle your information.
Chat Messages: When using the elf chat feature, your messages are sent to a third-party AI service to generate elf character responses. Only the message content is sent. No personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or account details are attached to these messages.
Subscription Information: If you subscribe to Christmas Elf Call Premium, your payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details, credit card numbers, or billing information.
Names, email addresses, or physical addresses
Photos, contacts, or location data
Phone numbers or device identifiers for tracking purposes
Browsing history or data from other apps
Analytics: We may use Apple's built-in analytics to understand general app usage patterns such as which features are most popular. This data is anonymous and aggregated. No individual user can be identified.
Chat Messages are sent to a third-party AI service solely to generate elf character responses. Messages are transmitted securely and are not stored permanently by the AI service.
Elf Call Audio is premade and plays locally on your device. No data is sent to any server when making or receiving elf calls.
Character Memory: Chat conversation context is stored locally on your device to allow elf characters to remember past conversations. This data never leaves your device.
The App uses the following third-party services:
DeepSeek API — Powers the elf chat responses. Only message content is transmitted. DeepSeek's privacy policy can be found at https://www.deepseek.com/privacy
RevenueCat — Manages subscription status. RevenueCat processes anonymous subscription data. Their privacy policy can be found at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Apple App Store — Handles all payment processing for subscriptions.
Christmas Elf Call is designed to be family-friendly and safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The elf chat feature does not ask for, collect, or store any personal information such as names, ages, addresses, school names, or any other identifying details.
If a parent or guardian believes that their child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.
Chat conversation history is stored locally on your device only and is not uploaded to any server.
Messages sent to the AI service are transmitted using secure HTTPS encryption.
We do not maintain any database of user information, chat logs, or personal data on our servers.
Chat messages sent to the AI service are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored by the AI service.
Local conversation history remains on your device until you delete the app or clear the chat history within the app.
You have the right to:
Delete your data — Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data including chat history and preferences.
Opt out of AI chat — You can use the elf call feature without ever using the chat feature. Elf calls do not send any data to external services.
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple's App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
