About me:

• I am an Assistant Professor at Arizona State University (WP Carey School of Business). 

• Prior to joining ASU I  graduated with a Ph.D. in Accounting at the University of North Carolina's Kenan Flagler Business School.

• My research has primarily focused on exploring non-conventional ways in which firms acquire information. For example: 

  • 1.  Do non-bank institutional lenders extract private information from their lending agreements with influential borrowers?

    2.  Do big audit firms hire individuals from the regulator to obtain information about upcoming regulatory inspections?

    3.  Do teams in lending institutions use their network of past professional collaborations to extract information useful in the valuation of debt claims?
