Hello Families, 

My name is Alexis Markowitz and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher! I am from League City, which is in the greater Houston area. My dad is a photographer at NASA and has been there for 30 years. He has taught me the importance of hard work and dedication. My younger brother is 21 and is a Senior at the University of Oklahoma studying Engineering. I graduated with my bachelors and masters from Texas State University (GO BOBCATS)! I have a dog named Ellie who is a snuggle bug. My family is very important to me- not only my blood family, but our class family as well. 

I believe all children are capable of learning and my hope is to ensure they are successful and truly enjoy learning. I am available to discuss your child's progress, what's happening in class, and ways that you can support your child's learning from home.
