Welcome to my page!
I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics of University of California, Riverside, where I conduct research under the supervision of my mentor Prof. James Kelliher. In addition, I teach several undergraduate courses, both in the lower level (Calculus I, II and III), as well as higher level courses like Numerical Analysis, Mathematical Modeling and Applied Dynamical systems with MATLAB. Recently, I was awarded "Outstanding Visiting Assistant Professor".
In 2019-2021, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Drexel University. At Drexel, beside teaching several undergraduate courses, I collaborated with my two mentors Prof. David Ambrose and Prof. Douglas Wright and conducted research in the field of fluid dynamics.
I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from University of Kansas in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Atanas Stefanov, where I was awarded multiple times, in particular Awarded Research Fellowship for Excellent Academic Records. During the PhD I was concentrating on Analytical aspects of PDEs, and more specifically the existence, uniqueness, regularity and well-poseness aspect of the equations arise in Fluid dynamics.
In addition, I earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Tarbiat Modares University in Iran, one of the leading research institutions in the country.
I am currently on the academic job market for positions starting in Fall 2024.
