How do we create a mobile app for disabled users making sure the design must be inclusive, accessible, informative, and flexible for every user?
Design the home page and test screen ( Student page) for a native mobile app for schools that will help them prepare for their exams. the app will:
-Cover subjects like English, Yoruba, Math, Science, Geography etc.
-Cover Grades from 1 to 10.
-Include practice tests and have Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
-Should work for students with visual and motor disabilities.
-Should a system for gamification ask as many questions as you need to define the scope.
-Design an Exam practice app for school students
-It's should be a native mobile app.
-Should cover all subjects and all grades.
-Create multi-choice questions with a gamified version.
-App should work for all like normal, visual disabilities and motor disabilities students.
For normal students: we can add gamification and each grade student has an interface For example; 1st grade has a child-friendly interface so that we can engage students.
For visual and motor disabilities: already these people using mobile phones nowadays with some accessibility has been helping so what I am going to do that accessibility friendly interface/screen to easy understand
In this task, they've already given solutions as requirements, and they revealed the kind of app this is. I am going to ideate for all requirements. If I do qualitative research it will go beyond task requirements
The requirements revealed everything but we have to ideate for how disabled users are going to use this app
This provided us with a birds-eye overview of the app
We started with designing mid-fidelity wireframes.
For Normal Students
For the Visually impaired and Motor disabled
This is for the Visually Impaired people (who have difficulties with vision).
This is for Motor Impaired people (who have difficulties moving their bodies).
For Normal Student
For the Visually Impaired
For the Motor Disabled
We ensured the logo was informative clear and particularly easy to visually understand.
