This small and unremarkable beetle only has 81 hectares of habitat remaining, with 80% of its previous habitat literally being destroyed by a golf course. This flightless beetle with a population of only 3,000 is also under threat from the Australian redback spider, and with everything it's hard to think that it will survive.
