Fatma Sueda Evirgen

Welcome!

I am a postdoctoral researcher at WZB Berlin in the Research Group Information, Incentives, Inequality. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Tilburg University in 2025. My research spans three intersecting areas: discrimination, the economics of philanthropy and prosocial behavior, and animal welfare. Using online and field experiments, I study how institutional environments, social norms, and perceptions of fairness shape economic and social inequalities and prosociality.

In addition to my academic work, I am the co-founder of Animetrics, a research organization dedicated to evidence-based animal advocacy through economic and econometric analysis.
