Fastward does not collect, store, or share your personal data. Everything you log - fasts, history, weight, settings - stays on your own device unless you choose to export it yourself.
WHAT FASTWARD DOES NOT DO
No account or sign-in is required or offered.
No analytics, tracking, or advertising software is included in the app.
No personal data is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
No data is sold, rented, or shared for advertising purposes.
WHAT'S STORED, AND WHERE
All of your fasting history, streaks, stats, settings, and (if you use Fastward Plus) weight log are stored locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage. Uninstalling the app removes this data. If you use the optional data export feature, a file containing your own data is created and saved to a location you choose on your own device or cloud storage - that transfer is entirely under your control and does not pass through the developer.
PURCHASES
Fastward Plus is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play's billing system. Fastward does not process payments itself and never sees your payment details. Google's own privacy policy governs the purchase transaction, see policies.google.com/privacy.
PERMISSIONS
Fastward may request notification permission (to show fasting reminders and progress updates) and, on some Android versions, exact-alarm scheduling permission (to keep the widget and notifications accurate). Neither permission is used to collect or transmit personal data.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Fastward is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, since it collects no personal data from any user.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the update will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
