App: Fast PDF (com.ramsaytech.fastpdf) · Effective date: August 4, 2026
Summary: Fast PDF processes all your documents entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded and never leave your device. The free version shows ads; the ad network never receives your documents.
1. Data we collect
Fast PDF does not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or the contents of your documents. No account or sign-in is required.
The app may send:
• Anonymous crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) when the app unexpectedly stops working. A crash report contains technical information such as the device model, operating system version, and the technical state of the app at the time of the crash. It never contains your documents, file names, or any file content, and it is not linked to your identity.
• Standard advertising data required to serve ads in the free version (see section 5).
2. Your files and processing
All operations (merge, compress, convert, scan, OCR/text recognition, signature, vault, etc.) happen entirely on your device. The PDFs and images you select are never uploaded and never sent to any third party. Document scanning and text recognition use Google ML Kit running on-device; document content does not leave your device.
3. Internet access
Internet access is used only to deliver anonymous crash reports, to request ads in the free version, and to verify your subscription status with Google Play. Your documents are never transmitted.
4. Permissions and why they are used
• File / storage access (All files access): so you can open your PDFs and save results to your device. Files are processed only locally.
• Biometric (fingerprint / face): only to lock your optional "Private Vault" on your device.
• Notifications and foreground service: to show the progress of long-running operations.
• Advertising ID: used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve ads in the free version.
None of these permissions are used to access the contents of your documents.
5. Ads and subscriptions
The free version shows occasional interstitial ads provided by Google AdMob. The ad network never receives your documents, their contents, or their file names. It receives only the standard data an ad request needs, which may include your device's advertising ID, app interaction events, diagnostic information, and an approximate region derived from your IP address. This data is used for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. See Google's policy at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
Fast PDF Pro is an optional subscription that removes ads and unlocks additional tools. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play; Fast PDF never sees or stores your payment details. Subscription status is verified through Google Play and RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase status only.
6. Data sharing
No personal data is sold. Anonymous crash reports are processed by Google Firebase Crashlytics solely to diagnose and fix stability issues (see firebase.google.com/support/privacy). Advertising data is shared with Google AdMob as described in section 5. Purchase status is shared with Google Play and RevenueCat as described in section 5. When you use the "Share" feature, only you decide where a file is sent.
7. Children's privacy
Fast PDF is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the free version displays ads served by Google AdMob, we recommend the app be used by a general audience.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date will be updated and the current version published at this address.
