Welcome to Fastord ("we," "our," or "us"). Fastord is a multi-role restaurant ordering, client wallet, and delivery management platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal information is handled safely and responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Fastord mobile application (the "App") and related services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our services across user roles (Clients, Restaurants, and Deliverymen).

A. Personal Information You Provide

• Account Data: Name, email address, password, and phone number provided during account registration.

• Role-Specific Profile Data:

  • Clients: Delivery address preferences, favorite deliverymen, and wallet ledger records.

  • Restaurants: Storefront name, cuisine type, description, menu items, and working hours.

  • Deliverymen: Vehicle details, availability status, and delivery rating history.

• Financial & Transaction Data: Records of wallet top-ups, restaurant credit purchases, affiliate commission earnings, and withdrawal payout requests (e.g., Flouci phone numbers).

B. Data Collected Automatically & Device Permissions

• Camera Access: We request access to your device's camera strictly for scanning QR codes in-person (e.g., scanning restaurant or client QR codes). Camera access is never used for audio recording, background capture, or video streaming.

• Push Notification Tokens: We collect Expo Push Notification tokens to deliver real-time order status updates, delivery invitations, and wallet activity alerts.

• Local Storage: We use local SQLite caching to improve offline performance and ensure fast app loading times.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following business purposes:

• Core Operations: To process orders, manage restaurant pre-orders, assign deliverymen, and facilitate wallet transfers.

• Real-Time Communications: To send instant push notifications for order updates, cashout statuses, and system alerts.

• Financial Security: To maintain an accurate, immutable ledger of wallet top-ups, client balance caps (max 100 TND total limit), and affiliate commissions.

• Account Verification: To verify identity, manage roles (Clients, Sub-Admins, Restaurants, Deliverymen), and prevent unauthorized activity.

4. Data Protection & Security

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the App and our backend servers (Google Firebase Firestore and Authentication) is encrypted using SSL/TLS (HTTPS).

• Data Minimization: We only collect the minimal permissions required for app functionality. We do not collect audio recordings, precise background location when the app is closed, or sensitive device diagnostics.

• No Third-Party Advertising: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

5. Account & Data Deletion Policy (Google Play Compliance)

In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, all Fastord users have the right to request full deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to Request Account Deletion:

3. Details to Include: Specify your registered email address or phone number and confirm that you wish to permanently delete your account and personal data.

4. Data Purging: Upon receiving your request, we will verify your identity and permanently delete your account profile, personal identification details, and authentication credentials within 30 days. (Note: Financial ledger logs required for tax and legal compliance may be retained in anonymized form).

6. Children's Privacy

Fastord does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
