About the conference FAS-2021

As a part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the institute, Department of Physics, SVNIT is going to organize a national Conference on Fundamental & Applied Science (FAS-2021) to bring together the scientific community. The FAS-2021 program is composed of six broad Symposia, which will provide an interdisciplinary platform to exchange the ideas among the leading scientist, academicians, and young researchers to discuss and exchange ideas through their recent findings and challenges encountered in their research problems and promote discussions on recent advances in these fields with the top-notch academicians and scientists and also to explore the possibilities of new collaborations in the various field of Physical sciences.

Abstract Submission closed by 15 October 2021

Notification of Acceptance by 17 October 2021

Full Paper Submission by 25 October 2021

Registration Close by 18 October 2021

About the Institute, SVNIT

The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat is an institute of national importance, funded by the Government of India. Initially established as Regional Engineering College in 1961, it upgraded as a National Institute of Technology in 2002 and has contributed many outstanding engineers in India and abroad. It is running seven undergraduate and seventeen PG programmes and Ph.D. programmes in all disciplines of Engineering and applied sciences with special attention to interdisciplinary research. The Department of Physics of SVNIT is one of the leading department in terms of teaching and research. This Department has supervised several students towards their M.Sc. & Ph.D. degree and successfully completed many scientific projects sponsored by National Scientific Agencies.
