Our mission is to improve the health status of Maine’s seasonal workers and their families by providing culturally appropriate care and services.
You or a family member currently works in agriculture, aquaculture, or seafood processing.
Your or your family's main work in the last 24 months has been agriculture, aquaculture, or seafood processing.
Examples:
Planting, picking, or packing vegetables or fruit
Planting trees
Working on a dairy or egg farm
Working on an oyster, salmon, or kelp farm
Working in a lobster processing factory
Provide medical services for migrant and seasonal workers throughout the state of Maine
Direct primary care including behavioral health services
Supportive services (care coordination, patient transportation, medical interpretation)
Access to Specialty Care
Limited Services assisting paying medical bills through sliding scale fee
Free COVID-19 Testing and Vaccination
Counseling and emotional support through difficult or unjust situations
Help to quit or reduce using tobacco, alcohol, or other drug
Help for people experiencing psychological, financial, or physical abuse at home or at work
Support looking for medical attention with a doctor or counselor
Help with the cost of medical services/prescriptions at the pharmacy
Support with scheduling and interpretation for medical services
Help with transportation for Medical and Emergency Dental Services
Help accessing COVID-19 testing, vaccines, and supports services
Health education
Connections to other services (education, food resources, etc.)
