I am an economist specializing in innovation, patent markets, and intellectual property rights.
My research combines theoretical and empirical approaches to explore how market frictions in technology affect innovation incentives and outcomes, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector. I am especially interested in the role of academic-industry collaborations, public-private partnerships, and open science initiatives in shaping R&D investment and drug discovery efforts.
I hold a PhD from the University of Toronto and am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McGill University.
Outside of my research, I enjoy traveling, painting, practicing yoga, and spending time with family.
