• MPIN used for app-level access protection
• Login or authentication-related details required to access the app
Financial Information
We may collect financial information manually entered by users, including:
• Bank account names
• Credit card names and details manually entered by the user
• Income records

• EMI schedules
• Subscription and renewal details

• Account balance information entered by the user
FamFunds does not collect actual banking login credentials, internet banking passwords, debit card PINs, credit card PINs, UPI PINs, or OTPs. All financial details are entered manually by the user for tracking and organization purposes only.
Device and Notification Information
We may collect device-related identifiers required for app functionality, including:
• Firebase Cloud Messaging token
• Device identifiers used for push notifications
• App notification preferences
These identifiers are used to send reminders about EMIs, renewals, bills, and other app notifications.

This information helps us identify and fix technical issues and improve app stability.

• To create and manage your FamFunds account
• To sync financial data across multiple devices within the same family group
• To track income, expenses, budgets, EMIs, renewals, and savings goals

• To personalize the app experience, including profile details and currency preferences
• To provide family sharing features using Family ID and Sharing Code

• To protect your app access using MPIN and other security features
Data Storage and Third-Party Services
We use reputable third-party services to store and process your data securely.
Supabase
Supabase is used as our primary backend service. User profiles, family finance records, financial entries, images, and related app data may be stored securely on Supabase servers.
Google Firebase
Google Firebase may be used for push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging and, if enabled, crash reporting or app performance monitoring.
Data transmitted between the app and our backend services is encrypted in transit using secure HTTPS/SSL connections.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Family Sharing
If you join or create a family group, your financial entries, such as income, expenses, budgets, renewals, EMI schedules, and related records, may be visible to other members of the same Family ID group based on the app’s sharing features.
No Sale of Data
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or financial data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Service Providers
We may share limited data with trusted service providers only when necessary to operate the app, such as cloud storage, authentication, push notifications, crash reporting, or app functionality.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.

FamFunds: Family Finance is a personal finance tracking and planning app. It is not a bank, financial institution, lender, credit provider, investment advisor, or payment service provider.
The app does not provide loans, banking services, investment services, credit services, or professional financial advice.
All financial information is entered manually by users. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter and for their own financial decisions.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal and financial information. Data in transit is encrypted using secure HTTPS/SSL connections. We also use security measures provided by Supabase, Firebase, and the Android platform.
The MPIN feature provides an additional app-level protection layer on your device.
However, no method of electronic storage, transmission, or security is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
Data Retention
We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide app features.
You may delete your account or request deletion of your data. After deletion, your personal and associated financial data will be removed or anonymized, unless retention is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
• Access your personal and financial information in the app
• Update or correct your profile and financial information
• Delete financial entries created by you
• Leave a family group to stop future sharing with that group
• Request complete deletion of your account and associated data
• Manage notification permissions from your device settings
Account deletion can be requested through the Delete Account option in the Profile section of the app, if available, or by contacting us using the email address below.
Children’s Privacy
FamFunds: Family Finance is intended for users who are capable of managing personal or family financial information. The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
