We provide a number of letters, worksheets, and translation resources that have been formatted in Google Sheets or Google Drive. To work with these documents, you will need to save your own copy. There are two ways to do this:
Save it as a Google Document:
Go to File > Make a Copy
Save to your own Google Drive
Download it as a Word Document or other type of text file:
Go to File > Download
Select Microsoft Word, Rich Text, or whatever file format you prefer
This graphic design software offers a host of templates, many of which are free. You can use Canva to create image files such as .PNG and .JPG files, which can be posted to social media. Or, you can download files as a PDF. This PDF wil not initially be Section 508 compliant (disability/screen reader accessible) but can be made compliant.
You will need to create a Canva account in order to work with the templates we created for this toolkit. You will need to create an account and then make a copy for your files in order to customize them.
Please note that the templates we created for this toolkit have been reviewed for accessibility including color contrast, font selection, and font formatting. However, many Canva templates do not meet these standards. If you decide to use Canva's templates in the future, please be sure to check the color contrast and follow other accessibility measures described in the Include section of this document.
