The FFT asks people if they would recommend the services they have used and offers a range of responses. From April 2020, a new question has replaced the original FFT question about whether people would recommend the service they used to their friends and family. There will be delays in some services being able to implement the new guidance in full due to the impact of the coronavirus on services.

Second, given the personal nature of healthcare needs, it is unlikely that friends or family members will have the same needs. Also, the relationship between a patient and practice staff usually plays a role in determining levels of satisfaction, but a patient cannot assume that friends and family will experience a similar relationship.

From this point of view, having access to user opinions is essential, as internal tests are unable to detect potential shortcomings in both the user interface and quality of use. Being able to be in tune with the base of end users is certainly a competitive advantage, but this result cannot be achieved by relying solely on internal testing.

When releasing new features or updates, developers also carry out a limited number of tests to check for incompatibilities, problems and bugs that might be found with previous versions.

In fact, the limitations of software testing with in-house tests are many and can significantly affect the quality of the software produced. The approach of relying solely on the internal testing of developers for the software testing phase is therefore not the ideal choice for obtaining applications with minimal problems and bugs.

The Cardinals will hear some cheering Sunday at State Farm Stadium, after the team got approval to have a small group of spectators -- made up of family and close friends of players, coaches and staff -- for the game against the Detroit Lions.

The ADHS was OK with this week's test run "because attendance is limited to staff and family members (and) we feel it is a controlled group that likely already has significant contact with one another," Christ said.

The Friends and Family Test was introduced into the English NHS in 2013. It was a single question survey which asked patients whether they would recommend the NHS service they have received to friends and family who need similar treatment or care.

The friends and family question: We would like you to think about your experience in the ward where you spent the most time during this stay. How likely are you to recommend our ward to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo is responding to reports that he arranged special access to COVID tests for his family and friends last year during a time when testing was scarce.

"People who I would meet with and I would be in exposure with, I was aware they were being tested. So if you came to see me in my office, you would be tested, and that applied with my family also," Cuomo said.

Under the HIPAA Privacy Rule, may a health care provider disclose protected health information about an individual to another provider, when such information is requested for the treatment of a family member of the individual?

My friends children aged 5 and 6 attend Tae Kwon Do classes and one mother incists everyone goes to the belt tests. I went twice and it felt very awkward. Its a small seating area with "STAY SILENT PLEASE" painted across a barrier to the gym floor. We aren't a huge group, usually like 10 or so but we took up half the area and kids parents had to stand. Of course there was chatter among the group, occasionally the same mom that wanted everyone there would shush people.

It can be very tempting to recruit friends, family, and employees to be your beta testers instead. Many companies have come to us planning to use these groups as their primary testers, for a few logical reasons:

From April 2013, all patients will be asked a simple question to identify if they would recommend a particular A&E department or ward to their friends and family. The results of this friends and family test will be used to improve the experience of patients by providing timely feedback alongside other sources of patient feedback. It will highlight priority areas for action.

Tests are available at pharmacies, retailers, and various health care locations. Visit covid.gov/tests for free at-home tests. Use the CDC search tool to find a PCR testing site. Learn more about the different types of COVID-19 testing.

They are easy to use and give you rapid results. Self-tests may be used if you have COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to an individual with COVID-19. PCR tests are not required to confirm rapid antigen test results.

The Friends and Family Test has already been successfully rolled out in hospitals across the country and is proving to be valuable in obtaining patient experiences. For more information on the Friends and Family Test, please visit www.nhs.uk/friendsandfamily

To diagnose Alzheimer's dementia, doctors conduct tests to assess memory impairment and other thinking skills, judge functional abilities, and identify behavior changes. They also perform a series of tests to rule out other possible causes of impairment.

Alzheimer's dementia can be diagnosed in several different ways. Often, Alzheimer's is diagnosed through a doctor's exam. They will evaluate your signs and symptoms and do several tests. They may talk to friends and family members to find out more about symptoms and behavior.

It's important to get an accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer's, the most common type of dementia. The correct diagnosis is an important first step toward getting the appropriate treatment, care, family education and plans for the future.

To diagnose Alzheimer's dementia, your primary doctor, a doctor trained in brain conditions (neurologist) or a doctor trained to treat older adults (geriatrician) will review your symptoms, medical history, medication history and interview someone who knows you well such as a close friend or family member. Your doctor will also perform a physical examination and conduct several tests.

Doctors may order additional laboratory tests, brain-imaging tests or send you for detailed memory testing. These tests can provide doctors with useful information for diagnosis, including ruling out other conditions that cause similar symptoms.

Neuropsychological tests. You may be evaluated by a specialist trained in brain conditions and mental health conditions (neuropsychologist). The evaluation can include extensive tests to evaluate your memory and thinking (cognitive) skills.

These tests help doctors determine if you have dementia, and if you're able to safely conduct daily tasks such as taking medications as scheduled and managing your finances. They provide information on what you can still do as well as what you may have lost. These tests can also evaluate if depression may be causing your symptoms.

Doctors look for details that don't fit with your former level of function. Your family member or friend often can explain how your thinking (cognitive) skills, functional abilities and behaviors have changed over time.

This series of clinical assessments, the physical exam and the setting (age and duration of progressive symptoms) often provide doctors with enough information to make a diagnosis of Alzheimer's dementia. However, when the diagnosis isn't clear, doctors may need to order additional tests.

Researchers are working on new ways to diagnose Alzheimer's dementia earlier. New tests might be able to diagnose the disease when symptoms are very mild or even before symptoms start. Currently, researchers are developing tests that measure amyloid or tau in the blood. These tests are promising and may be used to determine who is at risk of Alzheimer's dementia, and whether Alzheimer's is the cause of one's dementia.

Scientists are investigating several disease markers and diagnostic tests. These biomarkers include genes and proteins, including tau, related to Alzheimer's. New imaging tests are also being developed. These may help indicate whether you have Alzheimer's dementia and how much the disease has progressed. However, more research on these tests is necessary.

You may feel nervous about seeing a health care provider when you or a family member has memory problems. Some people hide their symptoms, or family members cover for them. It can be difficult to deal with the losses that Alzheimer's dementia can bring. These can include losing independence and driving abilities.

When a doctor tells you and your family members about an Alzheimer's diagnosis, they will help you understand Alzheimer's dementia, answer questions and explain what to expect. Your care team can help you figure out ways to maintain independence, health and safety.

Here at DGT we want to ensure that you have the best possible experience. Patients, carers, friends and family are welcome to leave feedback at any point. Your feedback will help us to improve our hospital services and celebrate our successes with those members of staff who looked after you.

This is a national survey that helps improve patient and family experience right across the NHS, not just here at Alder Hey. The results of the Friends and Family Test survey are published on the NHS Choices website. 006ab0faaa
