Life is full of surprises—what starts as a casual interest can become a lifelong pursuit. My name is Fakhrul Alam, and my journey in 3D art began from a love for computers and creative media. From 2015 to 2019, I studied computer hardware and software at a vocational school. During this time, I discovered a fascination with photography, which laid the groundwork for my dive into digital creativity.
In 2019, I joined the Multimedia and Creative Technology department at Daffodil International University, where I explored areas like 3D animation, AR/VR, and filmmaking. The COVID-19 lockdown marked a turning point, allowing me to dedicate 14+ hours a day to 3D modeling, fueling my passion for game environments and assets.
For my final defense project, I completed ‘The Spirit of Nature,’ focusing on low-poly 3D game assets. This project not only reflected my technical skills but also aimed to explore how aesthetic game environments can enhance player experiences. It confirmed my aspiration to build a career in the game industry as an environment artist, blending creativity and technology to craft immersive worlds.
Since December 2023, I have been working as a Creative Executive at eMedia, a Daffodil Group concern. Here, I merge 3D and 2D designs to create content for social media, print media, and event visualizations. However, my ultimate goal remains to transition fully into the game industry, contributing to projects that inspire, engage, and tell compelling stories.
This is just the beginning of my creative journey, and I look forward to where it leads next!
