While browsing the web, I need to set fake screen resolution to any websites. for example if I load a site in full screen mode which has 1920x1080px resolution I want that site think my screen size is 700x800px and my browser size is 500x500px or something else but still be able to browse in full screen mode.

I use a program called usbmmidd, a program for windows that can be used simulate a second monitor. You can use your graphics display settings to change the resolution of the fake monitor. The monitor acts like any other monitor and can be adjusted to anywhere you want it to be outside of your other monitors. You can use a streaming service like obs to screen capture your virtual display. I use this in VR so I can have multiple virtual displays where as in reality I only have a one.

That is, if I were to take a screenshot of my laptop and then transfer the screenshot to a computer whose monitor can display 1920 by 1080, the screenshot will appear as if it is actually 1920 by 1080.

Problem I have is that on my laptop the build in screen will activate when I switch to another PC, and I normally disable that build in screen completely, when I have my laptop connected to my KVM setup I want it disabled.

However, switching to another PC will signal my laptop that there are no screens connected and the build in screen will activate.

Also powering up a PC with the KVM port active to another PC will result in the screen not coming on when I switch to the PC just powered up.

If the actor moves in front of the virtual screen you will have to create some kind of a mask to either make a hole in the virtual screen or remove the background from the part of the actor that passes in front of the virtual screen.

As for color correction and final compositing, there are a bunch of options. The best tools also depend on the shot. You will have to consider color grading, edge control, blend modes, and effects. You may even want to add a subtle layer that simulates the light from the projector interacting with the atmosphere. Again, this all depends on the original shot and also the footage used as the virtual screen.

I'm trying to dynamically (after the virtual X server is running) create fake monitors. For better context I'm writing a WM and I wanted to have to handle correct behavior when a monitor is plugged/unplugged.

So, I've never experienced this before. I took some photos on a more or less cloudy day and they came looking like a terrible key. It's green screen looking.

Did I hit some weird perfect storm of F-stop, lighting on a cloudy day, subject distance, and background? I've literally never shot anything that has ever come out like this before.

No, I meant technically why did it come out so two-dimensional. All the photos in the set came out looking like the person is standing in a studio and the background was keyed in. This is literally in front of the mountain outdoors, yet to me it looks really fake. Am I just imagining this?

I'd like to understand technically what caused the photos this day to come out looking so two-dimensional.

I'm creating an app with a lot of fake screens(VerticalArrangement), and I want to make a smooth transitions between switching them, I've tried this method using the Flubbie extension,(see below)

but while switching, it creates a gap between them, is there any better method to make a smooth transition between them?

That is not composite on still image, i want to render a single flat image for showing on the real curved screen directly.

I am very new to blender, actually I was searching for the same thing how to create such content on the screen. How did you manage to get the flattened output shown above? If any one knows the method to render out the distorted projection in the final resolution of the display.
