"Shattered Reflections" is a linear narrative that delves into the very temperamental family that is the Marrows, as you play as Aaliyah struggling with her own inner turmoil trying to connect back with her family after coming back from college. She is stopped when an unexpected phone call brings in disturbing news about a body found in the home. As the story unfolds through dialogue and revealing interactions, players are drawn into a riveting exploration of themes such as familial expectations, personal identity, and the devastating consequences of unaddressed conflicts, delving deep into fractured relationships, shattered dreams, and the profound impact of silence on the human soul.
On this project, I worked as the Project Manager, Programmer, and Game Designer. My team and I would work in weekly sprints with a planned playtest every 2 to 3 weeks. Below is a development slide I was using to document the project's process as well as screenshots of the Trello board I was using to keep track of tasks and the development.
