FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE
"Because every voice deserves fair play."
This international youth initiative brings together young people from Bulgaria and Serbia to explore civic participation, social responsibility, and teamwork through the unifying power of sport and collective values. FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE promotes solidarity, inclusion, and youth-led dialogue through non-formal learning and cross-border cooperation.
Sports Club CSKA - Hockey is a non-governmental organization that, since its establishment, has been actively working to enhance the sports culture of young people and encourages them to be more responsible towards themselves and their community.
Hokejaški Klub Vojvodina is a professional ice hockey team from Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia, founded in 1957. In its history it has won eight national championships. They play their home games at SPENS, located in Novi Sad. The team is part of the Vojvodina Novi Sad sports society.
Project Objective
To foster civic engagement and social responsibility among young people from Bulgaria and Serbia through an international youth exchange that uses the sports environment and the values of team play as a tool to promote participation, solidarity, and active involvement in democratic life.
Specific Objectives:
• To create opportunities for the exchange of experience, perspectives, and values among young people from different cultural and social backgrounds through joint activities related to sport and participation.
• To develop key skills and attitudes for active citizenship, teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and solidarity within a non-formal educational environment.
• To encourage the creation of a youth-led initiative that expresses a position on issues important to young people, with potential for multiplication after the exchange.
1. Building a united group and intercultural partnership.
2. Taking part in educational workshops and simulations on democracy, active youth involvement, and ethics.
3. Getting involved in sports activities with an educational function and developing leadership skills.
4. Developing and implementing a youth initiative with a social impact.
5. Creating urban and nature missions for cooperation, sustainability, and social inclusion.
Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.
It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also
supports the European Pillar of Social Rights
implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027
develops the European dimension in sport
In the course of 20 years the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) has made its mark as a successful national structure for the management of European educational programmes. Back since 1999, the Centre has been actively involved in administering and steering European educational programmes and initiatives.
The Centre has gradually made its mark in the national educational community at all levels not only as a readily recognisable administrator of EU-funded programmes but above all as a platform for sharing innovative educational methods and good practices to address the challenges emerging in the education and training system.

Within the framework of the project FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE, No. 2024-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000199268, a variety of activities were implemented, united by one main goal – to develop the civic engagement and social responsibility of young people through an international exchange that uses the sports environment and the values of team play as a tool to promote participation, solidarity and active involvement in democratic life.

FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE Project Has Started
Sports Club “CSKA-Hockey”, Bulgaria, in partnership with "Hokej klub Vojvodina", Serbia, is launching the international youth exchange FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE, No. 2024-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000199268.
Implementation period: 01.06.2024 – 31.08.2025 (15 months)
The project aims to develop the civic engagement and social responsibility of young people from Bulgaria and Serbia through an international youth exchange that uses the sports environment and the values of team play as a tool for promoting participation, solidarity and active involvement in democratic life.
The initiative seeks to encourage civic engagement and social responsibility among young people. The project will bring together youth from different cultural and social backgrounds in a common space for learning, cooperation and mutual understanding.
During the implementation of the project FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE, information will be provided about its goals, activities and expected results, as well as about the Erasmus+ Programme and the opportunities it offers.
Specific objectives:

The youth exchange FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE is about to begin
Sports Club “CSKA-Hockey”, Bulgaria and “Hokej klub Vojvodina”, Serbia are implementing the project “FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE”, No. 2024-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000199268, funded under the ERASMUS+ Programme, KA1/YOUTH.
A 16-day international youth exchange will soon take place in Sofia. The initiative will involve 20 young people from Bulgaria and 20 from Serbia, accompanied by their group leaders.
From 26 July to 10 August 2025, the international youth exchange FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE will be held between CSKA Hockey Club (Bulgaria) and Hokej klub Vojvodina (Serbia).
The participants will take part in educational workshops, sports activities, simulations, and a youth initiative with social impact. The overall goal is to develop skills and attitudes for active citizenship, solidarity and civic engagement through sport and non-formal education.
The project will create a space where sport and active citizenship meet, inspiring young people to become leaders and drivers of positive change in their communities.

FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE in Action
The international youth exchange FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE, No. 2024-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000199268, is now in full swing! A total of 40 young people from Bulgaria and Serbia are participating together in educational workshops, sports challenges, and cooperation missions in both urban and natural environments.
The power of sport and the values of fair play inspire participants to develop leadership, teamwork, and an active role in society.

The youth exchange FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE has been successfully completed
Sports Club “CSKA-Hockey”, Bulgaria, and Hokej klub Vojvodina, Serbia, are implementing the project “FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE”, No. 2024-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000199268, funded under the ERASMUS+ Programme, KA1/YOUTH.
Between 26 July and 10 August 2025, young people from Bulgaria and Serbia took part in the international youth exchange FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE, organized by CSKA Hockey Club and Hokej klub Vojvodina.
The programme included sports and educational activities, role-playing exercises, leadership challenges, and a youth initiative with real social impact.
The project inspired young leaders who are ready to work for positive change in their communities.

FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE has ended, but its impact continues
The project FAIR PLAY – REAL VOICE, No. 2024-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000199268, implemented by CSKA Hockey Club and Hokej klub Vojvodina, has been successfully completed.
Over a period of 15 months, the initiative built a bridge between young people from Bulgaria and Serbia, uniting them through sport and developing in them skills for active citizenship and social responsibility.
The achieved results will be multiplied through new initiatives and partnerships.
